The APEC CEO Summit is the most influential meeting of business and government in the Asia Pacific. The forum provides opportunities for governance, chief executives, and world business leaders to engage with each other and with leaders of the APEC economies, on key trade and economic issues. In 2021, because of Covid-19, the event was adapted to become a fully virtual Summit for the first time. Uno Loco had the great privilege of producing the event.
Using the latest broadcast technology, satellite events and an impressive studio set in Auckland’s Aotea Centre, the event connected audiences across 21 APEC economies, providing an ‘as-live’ experience to thousands of attendees across multiple time zones. An innovative digital platform allowed participants access to a world-class line-up of presenters, engaging panel discussions, and an opportunity to interact with each other, regardless of location.
We were very proud to be part of this live on-air event which ran for 16 hours across two days. In the words of Stephen Colbert, it was most definitely one of New Zealand’s “top ten CEO Summits.”
