To celebrate the launch of the new All Black and Black Ferns Primeblue replica jerseys, we were tasked with hosting an exclusive media launch event, during a Covid-19 lockdown. Made with 50% Parley Ocean Plastic, the jerseys provided the perfect segue for raising awareness of Adidas’s commitment to cleaning up our oceans.
Uno Loco’s brief was to create the launch event and attract key media who would relay the brand’s messaging. Our main objective was to bring the ocean to our audience through storytelling, high tech screens and content. We wanted guests to hear, smell and see the sea. Guests passed through an entrance tunnel of LED walls and floors, with bespoke ocean-themed content, including the plastic that’s harming sea life and the environment.
Atop each plinth was a draped frame with one of the new replica jerseys hidden from view. These were revealed and explained by each speaker. The giant curved LED wall featured PrimeBlue and Adidas content and functioned as a live backdrop for presentations and speeches.
