The pandemic put a kybosh on many in real life events – so it was refreshing to be celebrating New Zealand businesses in a space that allowed people to connect. The New Zealand International Business Awards (NZBIA) celebrate Kiwi businesses who, through unprecedented times, demonstrate the same determination, ingenuity, and true spirit of navigation. It was our job to produce a high end black tie event for nominees at Auckland’s Shed 10.
In 2022, we were given the brief to tell the story of the Kuaka, a migratory bird that embodies bravery, resilience, and focus. We did this through a refined conceptual approach using a graphic- line treatment that represented precision, focus and global connection. The event required a visual identity that set the tone for the evening, one that could be applied across live event media, digital, streaming, venue styling, entertainment, and print. Our team also produced an opening video to set the tone for an epic night.
Guests were able to take stock of their achievements during one of the most challenging business periods in our history. This was a very successful event with exceptional feedback from our client and those attending.
